[Lily] Fanmade Vocaloids

Lucian (ルシアン Rushian) is the genderbent version of Lily, created by the Japanese fandom. He has short blonde hair and clothing similar to Lily's.

Lily (リリィ Ririi) is an official mascot character of a singing synthesizer application software powered by Yamaha's Vocaloid2. Her basic databanks were jointly-developed by Yamaha and Avex Management Co., Ltd. Internet Co., Ltd will be her distributor and also provide her effective support for the users. This was also announced by t-kimura (Takashi Kimura), once a member and now a music producer of m.o.v.e, on his twitter. Lily was published on August 25, 2010 and her design is by KEI. The data for the voice was created by sampling the voice of Yuri Masuda (益田 祐里, Masuda Yuri), a Japanese vocalist of the Japanese musical group m.o.v.e.

Yuri Masuda

Originally Lily appeared on the cover of the CD "anim.o.v.e. 01" released on Aug 19, 2009 before the announcement of its Vocaloid development. The voice source is the lead vocalist of m.o.v.e., Yuri Masuda. Her trial version was given out free online before her release, but is no longer available. Her contests are closed and songs are now being released onto Youtube and Nico Nico Douga using the 30 day trial. Also, "anim.o.v.e. 02", m.o.v.e album which comes along with her anime movie, was released On Aug 25, 2010. Prizes for her contest were Lily-related promotional goods, also a copy of Internet Co. Ltd.'s Singer Song Writer 9 Professional software. Judges included DJ Lily and MOSH from anim.o.v.e, Masashi Kamibayashi and Kenichiro Yorozu of DTM MAGAZINE, and Hideki Kenmochi of YAMAHA.

Internet Co., Ltd has just released the first official song demo from the forthcoming Vocaloid software Lily.

This song, entitled "SUPER SONIC DANCE", was originally a 2001 single from the Japanese electronica band m.o.v.e.

Just earlier Internet Co. Ltd. has revealed more information on Vocaloid Lily, in which the illustration art was done by KEI, the same person who did the design for Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin/Len and Megurine Luka. She will be voiced by Masuda Yuri, who’s the vocalist for the band m.o.v.e.. For those interested you can listen to samples of m.o.v.e.’s music over on MySpace.

Lily’s recommended tempo would be between 90 BPM ~ 180 BPM while her recommended range is between D2 ~ D4. She will be scheduled to be released on August 25th 2010 at a price of 15,750 yen ($177.80 or 140.22€).

[Vocaloid] NEW VOCALOID - Codenamed Lily

There have been lots of talk about a new Vocaloid called "Lily" for the past couple of days. According to DTM Magazine, a new Vocaloid, codenamed "Lily", will be illustrated by KEI. Crypton confirmed via twitter that there is no connection between the new Vocaloid Lily and their company.

The current theory is Lily is being released by AH-Software (AHS) as part of their Vocal Artist series, and the voice source is the lead vocalist of m.o.v.e. ("yuri", which translates into Lily). It should be noted that although this is most likely, it has NOT been officially confirmed.

The character design that was sketched by KEI and shown in DTM appears on the cover of the CD "anim.o.v.e. 01", which features such artists as m.o.v.e., Takarano Arika from Ali Project, and AKINO, covering various anime songs. The two on the cover are said to be the members of m.o.v.e.
